WatchMaker is a brand new smartwatch company that will be launching in the US and Canada starting in April.
The WatchMaker app will allow users to set reminders, keep track of their fitness goals, and even track their sleep.
WatchMaker was founded in 2017, and CEO David Schmitt said he thinks it will be the next big thing in wearable tech.
“We’ve done a lot of work in the fitness space, we’ve been there since the very beginning,” he told The Verge.
“It was really exciting to get involved in this space.
I think that’s where WatchMaker comes in, because they’re really focused on the fitness side of things.”
WatchMaker said it would also partner with fitness companies, like the U.K.’s LIVESTRONG and Fitbit, to provide its fitness tracking services.
The company’s first smartwatch will be available for preorder on April 2.
Watchmaker’s smartwatch looks similar to the Pebble smartwatch that Apple released last year, and it’s set to launch alongside a new version of the Pebble app.
Watchmakers smartwatch is expected to be released around the same time as the Pebble Pebble 2, which launched in August.
It’s a smartwatch with a curved display, but it has a curved screen that wraps around the face, making it less noticeable to the naked eye.
